What a listing tells you
Each listing describes how a venue says it handles gluten: its kitchen set-up, and details such as separate fryers or Coeliac UK accreditation where these have been confirmed. Safety ratings are our own editorial view based on that information.
What a listing cannot tell you
A listing is not a guarantee that a meal will be free from gluten. Kitchens change staff, suppliers, menus and procedures, and information can go out of date. We do not inspect venues or test food.
Before you eat
Always tell the venue about your dietary needs, ask how your food will be prepared, and make your own decision. If you have coeliac disease or another medical condition, follow the advice of your doctor or dietitian.
